New Xtrackers ETFs on Xetra: Global Corporate Bonds and Emerging Markets Government Bonds

Since Wednesday, four new exchange-traded funds issued by Xtrackers are tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The Xtrackers USD High Yield Corporate Bond UCITS ETF 2C – EUR Hedged gives investors access to fixed-rate and US dollar-denominated high yield bonds worldwide, predominantly issued by industrial companies, utilities, and financial institutions. In addition to a minimum outstanding volume of €500 million, the debt instruments must have a residual term of at least one and at most 15 year(s). The weighting of an issuer is limited to a maximum of 3 per cent. In this share class, exchange rate risks to the euro are minimised.

With the Xtrackers II EUR Corporate Bond UCITS ETF 1D, investors invest in fixed-rate and euro-denominated corporate bonds with investment grade rating worldwide. To be included in the index, debt securities must have a residual maturity of at least one year and a minimum outstanding volume of €300 million. Any coupon payments are distributed.

With the Xtrackers II ESG EUR Corporate Bond UCITS ETF 1C, investors can choose a share class that is composed of fixed-rate and euro-denominated corporate bonds with an investment grade rating worldwide and takes ESG criteria into account. The issuing companies are mainly from the financial and industrial sectors, as well as some from the utilities sector. Companies that violate the UN Global Compact or are involved in serious ESG-related controversies are not considered. The same applies to companies with business activities in the areas of alcohol, tobacco, gambling, adult entertainment, genetically modified organisms, nuclear energy, and weapons.

The Xtrackers II USD Emerging Markets Bond UCITS ETF 1D – EUR Hedged provides investors with exposure to emerging market fixed-rate and US dollar-denominated debt. Both, high yield and investment grade rated bonds are considered. In addition to governments, regional governments or government-sponsored companies can be issuers as well. The weighting of a country is limited to a maximum of US$25 billion. For inclusion in the index, debt instruments must have a minimum remaining term of two years and a minimum outstanding volume of US$1 billion. The currency risk against the euro is hedged.
