New iShares ETF on Xetra: Sustainable Companies From the Semiconductor Industry

A new exchange traded fund issued by iShares has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Friday.

The iShares MSCI Global Semiconductors UCITS ETF USD (Acc) gives investors access to large, medium-sized, and small companies from developed and emerging markets with the best sustainability profiles within the global semiconductor industry. Only semiconductor manufacturers and their suppliers are included.

Companies are excluded from the index if they do not comply with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, are involved in serious ESG-related controversies or are active in the tobacco, weapon, coal, or oil sands sectors.

The five largest companies are subject to a maximum weighting of 8 per cent per stock, all others to a limit of 5 per cent.
