Invesco is expanding its range of ESG ETFs to include a tracker from emerging market companies around the world with good and continuously improving grades in terms of sustainability.
July 13, 2021. FRANKFURT (Deutsche Börse). A new exchange-traded fund from the issuer Invesco has been tradable via Xetra and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since Tuesday.
With the Invesco MSCI Emerging Markets ESG Universal Screened UCITS ETF – Acc, investors get access to companies with large and medium market capitalization from 26 emerging countries worldwide. The investment strategy relies on the higher weighting of companies that not only have a good ESG profile, but also demonstrably improve it. The weighting according to market capitalization is regularly adjusted based on certain ESG criteria, whereby this is limited to a maximum of 5 percent per title.
Companies that do not have an MSCI rating, have been involved in serious ESG controversies, or do business in weapons, oil sands, thermal coal, tobacco or non-medicinal cannabis are excluded from the index.
