New ETF from SPDR on Xetra: access to companies worldwide in line with the Paris Climate Agreement

A new exchange-traded fund issued by State Street Global Advisors is tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.

The SPDR MSCI ACWI Climate Paris Aligned UCITS ETF offers investors the opportunity to invest in large and medium-sized companies from developed countries and emerging markets. Companies are selected from the MSCI ACWI index universe and weighted to reduce exposure to transitional and physical climate risks, while taking advantage of opportunities arising from the shift to a more carbon efficient economy. This selection of companies is intended to achieve the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. In addition, companies that are involved in serious ESG-related controversies are excluded from the index.
