A new exchange-traded fund issued by UBS Global Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.
The UBS (Irl) ETF plc – MSCI ACWI Socially Responsible UCITS ETF invests in global companies with the best record on environmental, social and governance issues and avoids those with negative social or environmental impacts. Due to the best-in-class approach, at least 20 per cent of the worst-performing companies in the MSCI All Country World Index are excluded.
In addition, companies that do business in nuclear power, tobacco, alcohol, gambling, weapons, genetically modified organisms, and adult entertainment are excluded.
