New bond ETF issued by SPDR on Xetra: convertible bonds global with currency hedge to US Dollar

Since Tuesday, a new exchange-traded fund of the issuer State Street Global Advisors is tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

With the SPDR Refinitiv Global Convertible Bond USD Hdg UCITS ETF (Dist), investors participate in the performance of the global convertible bond market. The fund invests in convertible bonds with a conversion obligation as well as in those without a maturity limit. Convertible bonds with investment grade (high quality), without investment grade or no rating, which can have a fixed or variable interest rate, are eligible.

This is a USD-hedged share class, which minimises exchange rate fluctuations between the US dollar and the base currency of the bond. The trading currency on Xetra is US dollar.
