A new exchange-traded fund issued by State Street Global Advisors is tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Wednesday.
The SPDR Bloomberg SASB 0-3 Year Euro Corporate ESG UCITS ETF offers investors access to fixed-income, euro-denominated corporate bonds with investment grade rating. Bonds issued by industrial, utility, and financial companies with a residual maturity of up to three years and a minimum volume of 300 million euros are considered.
In addition, all issuing companies must have the R-value calculated by State Street Global Advisors, which rates the companies based on sustainability factors. Companies associated with environmental disasters, weapons, thermal coal mining, tobacco or violations of the United Nations Global Compact are excluded.
