A new exchange-traded fund issued by Franklin LibertyShares has been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Tuesday.
The Franklin Catholic Principles Emerging Markets Sovereign Debt UCITS ETF offers investors the opportunity to invest in euro- and US dollar-denominated sovereign bonds of emerging markets that comply with roman catholic principles. The floating or fixed rate bonds have a minimum maturity of 18 months and must have a rating of B3 or better. In addition, the weighting of a country is limited to 10 per cent.
Country selection is based on the moral integrity of states, social justice, abolition of the death penalty and concern for the planet based on environmental, social and corporate governance data.
