A new exchange traded fund from Amundi Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.
The Amundi China CNY Bonds – UCITS ETF gives investors access to renminbi-denominated fixed-income government bonds and bonds issued by state-owned banks listed on the Chinese interbank market.
For inclusion in the index, the debt instruments must have a minimum outstanding volume of 5 billion renminbi and a minimum residual term of one year. Furthermore, only bonds from mainland China that are traded on the Chinese interbank bond market “CIBM” are taken into account.
Investors can trade the ETF flexibly in the desired currency, euro or US dollar, using the same ISIN. The trading currency can be selected by an individually assigned exchange code.
