Deutsche Börse welcomes Roundhill Investments as new ETF issuer on Xetra

New listing offers access to Europe’s first Metaverse ETF

Europe’s first Metaverse ETF has been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Tuesday. The issuer of the new ETF is Roundhill Investments.

With the Roundhill Ball Metaverse UCITS ETF, investors can participate in the performance of companies that are actively involved in the realisation of the metaverse. The ETF is based on the Ball Metaverse Index. The metaverse stands for the connection of real and virtual world in the digital age. The index currently includes 44 companies worldwide that, among other things, develop and operate virtual platforms, enable real-time data connections with high bandwidths or provide computing power to support the metaverse. Also represented are companies that provide hardware and software solutions for accessing and developing the metaverse and supporting digital payment processes.

The largest companies in the index currently include Nvidia, Microsoft, Meta Platforms, Unity Software and Apple.
